HOW DOES A STUDENT SEE THE COUNSELOR?
Referral can be made by:

Self

Teacher

Parent/guardian

Counselor

Administrator

Friend

A student can make a self-referral by using a guidance pass in order to discuss a problem with a counselor. Regular participation in guidance services can be initiated by a parent, teacher, and/or administrator in consultation with the school counselor. The counselor would need to receive parental permission before any student is seen in counseling on a regular basis. At times, some regular group members may be allowed to invite a friend to their counseling group as part of our "bring a friend" activity.
